We headed to Baltimore last night with our friends, Neal & Tara and Neal's brother, Tyler. We've had this trip planned for awhile-- a little get away out east. It was our friends' first trip to Baltimore and we've all really been looking forward to getting away. The plan is to show them some really cool places in the city, including Oriole Park @ Camden Yards and Fells Point. We're staying downtown tonight after the Orioles game and checking out the fireworks in the Inner Harbor. We had a blast...and although the forecast called for a lot of rain, it really turned out to be a great day (with only a little rain)
Not only did the 5 of us go to the game, but a lot of family also joined us there, adding to the fun of the night. And, we finally got a Tucker on the turf at an Orioles Game...Cameron was selected to play a game with the Oriole mascot on thr field before the game. And the Orioles got quite the victory!

Yes, the 4th was a wonderful day...even though it was spent a little differently than usual. Gathering at Camden yards was fun and the O's won. Cameron will never forget her encounter with the Oriole Bird...why did he throw two balls at me and why wouldn't he let me stay on second base?...and ,boy,did she smack that ball!
