We'll know just how well their blind date went tomorrow when the clinic calls us in the morning.
Although there were a lot of eggs retrieved, they were at different stages of maturity, so by no means are we expecting 27 fertilized embryos tomorrow. Realistically, our embryologist is hoping for 9-12 solid "matches." These are really good numbers b/c we are only "throwing back" (that's medical speak for "transferring") 2. The remaining solid embryos will be frozen in groups of 3 for a possible 2nd attmpt in the future.
I hope the little guys and donor eggs get a long.
